The evidence planted against Crewman Dax.

Crewman Dax was an alien Starfleet crewmember serving aboard the USS Enterprise-A under Captain Kirk in 2293. He was briefly suspected of participating in the assassination of Klingon chancellor Gorkon, but his innocence was proven by the unusual shape of his feet, which would not fit into the magnetic boots that were believed to have been used to commit the assassination.

The boots had actually been planted in Dax's locker by Lieutenant Valeris. (Star Trek VI: The Undiscovered Country)
