Texas-born Dayna Devon is an actress and journalist who, in 2004, made a cameo appearance as an engineering officer aboard the NX-01 Enterprise in the Star Trek: Enterprise episode "The Augments".
Devon currently anchors the TV magazine Extra, a program which she joined in 1999. In 2004, she won an Emmy Award in 2004 for "Best Live Broadcast" for her work on this program.
On Extra, Dayna Devon used to do a segment called "Dayna TV" during which she guest starred on several different TV shows such as Enterpise. She showed her scenes from this episode of the "Augments". She has several lines and even one out-take. Other series on which she appeared include The West Wing, Gilmore Girls, Desperate Housewives, Charmed, and Smallville.
She was also seen in the films Antitrust (2001) and Just Friends (2005).
