Template:Realworld Deborah Everton is a Hollywood costume designer who worked on Star Trek: First Contact. In 1997, she won a Saturn Award for Best Costumes from the Academy of Science Fiction, Fantasy & Horror Films for her work on First Contact.
Before becoming a costume designer, Everton was a costume supervisor on the hit 1984 film The Terminator. Her first film as costume designer was 1988's Bad Dreams, a horror thriller starring Richard Lynch and Harris Yulin. She worked on several more projects for that film's director, Andrew Fleming, including The Craft (1996) and Dick (1999, starring Kirsten Dunst, Teri Garr, and Saul Rubinek). After First Contact, she would again work with that movie's director, Jonathan Frakes, on his 2002 science fiction adventure movie Clockstoppers and an episode of the ABC series Masters of Science Fiction entitled "The Discarded" (written by Harlan Ellison).
Everton's other costume design credits include films like The Abyss, Highlander II: The Quickening, Blank Check (starring Brian Bonsall and Miguel Ferrer), Lawnmower Man 2: Beyond Cyberspace (starring Matt Frewer and Kevin Conway), Halloween H20: 20 Years Later, Virus, and Spy Kids, and the pilots for TV sci-fi hits The X-Files and Earth 2. She also designed the costumes for Ronald D. Moore's re-imagined Battlestar Galactica mini-series.
In addition to her Saturn Award, Everton received a CableACE Award for her work on the 1994 TV movie Heart of Darkness, featuring Star Trek VI: The Undiscovered Country actress Iman and TNG/VOY guest actor Alan Scarfe. She continues to work on Masters of Science Fiction and recently completed designs for an upcoming film entitled The Flock starring Richard Gere and Claire Danes.
