The Delta Vega outpost was a Starfleet facility on the planetoid Delta Vega. Montgomery Scott and Keenser were assigned to this outpost in 2258.
In 2258, James T. Kirk was marooned on the planetoid by Commander Spock. After discovering the existence of Spock from an alternate timeline, they travelled together the 14km to the outpost. (Star Trek)
