Template:Realworld According to a deleted scene from Star Trek Nemesis, the Denab system is a star system unexplored by the United Federation of Planets as of 2379.
That year, following her repair and refit, the USS Enterprise-E was scheduled to explore this system. This was the first mission that Commander Madden served as executive officer aboard the Enterprise.
The closed captioning spelled the name of this system as "Danapp," however the correct spelling is found in the film's script. The name is reminiscent of the Deneb system, which was the USS Enterprise-D crew's first destination in TNG: "Encounter at Farpoint".
