Deniece Sims was the wife of Star Trek: The Next Generation property master Alan Sims. She portrayed a Bringloidi colonist in the second season episode "Up The Long Ladder" in 1989. Sims was at this time pregnant and the script asked for a pregnant Bringloidi woman who was carrying a little African pygmy goat which was also brought by Sims to the set.
