A detonation code was a computer code that could be used to detonate explosive devices.
In 2372, Worf and Kurn obtained the detonation codes for a minefield that the Klingons were deploying outside Bajoran space by accessing the deployment plan from aboard the IKS Drovana. Kira Nerys and Miles O'Brien later detonated the minefield from the USS Defiant using the codes. (DS9: "Sons of Mogh")
