Dieter Hornemann (born 18 March 1946; age 78) is an actor who worked as recurring background actor and stand-in on Star Trek: Deep Space Nine, Star Trek: Voyager, Star Trek: Enterprise and Star Trek Nemesis. He often played Vulcan background characters. His costumes as a Vulcan Syrrannite and Klingon prisoner from Enterprise were later sold off on the It's A Wrap! sale and auction on eBay. [1] [2]

Hornemann's film work include the thriller Clear and Present Danger (1994, with Harris Yulin, Raymond Cruz, James Earl Jones, Ellen Geer, Beau Lotterman, Reg E. Cathey, Vaughn Armstrong, John Putch, Michael Jace, Cameron Thor, Harley Venton, Miguel Perez, Kamala Lopez-Dawson, Leo Garcia, Elizabeth Dennehy, Aaron Lustig, Catherine MacNeal, Rico Bueno, Tory Christopher, Henry Kingi, Jr., Al Ahlf, Sherry O'Keefe, Lemuel Perry, R.A. Rondell, Irving Ross, Walter Smith, and Charles Tentindo), the drama My Brother Jack (1998, with Rick Pasqualone and Leonard Kelly-Young), and the comedy remake Get Smart (2008, with Dwayne Johnson and Ivy Bethune).

He also appeared as a firefighter in the ER episode "The Healers" (1996, with Gregory Itzin, John Christian Graas, Lily Mariye, Ann Shea, Lynnanne Zager, Melissa Vinicor, Scott Strozier, Joyce Lasley, Guy Richardson, and Michael Wajacs), as a White House USNC Official in the action thriller Air Force One (1997, with Dean Stockwell, Spencer Garrett, Bill Smitrovich, Dan Shor, Glenn Morshower, Don McManus, Richard Doyle, Pasha D. Lychnikoff, Mario Roberts, Mark Donaldson, Harry Hutchinson, Boris Krutonog, Dan Barringer, Kristian Sorensen, Stuart Nixon, Lee Faranda, Paul Sklar, Timothy Carhart, and Titus Welliver), as a Police Detective in the Columbo episode "A Trace of Murder" (1997, with Raye Birk, Dion Anderson, Maury Sterling, Woody Porter, Janet Dey, Michael Bailous, and Andray Johnson), and as a groomsman in the Boston Legal episode "Live Big" (2006, with René Auberjonois, William Shatner, Jayne Brook, and Michael Ensign).

Today, Hornemann resides with his wife Lotte in Santa Barbara, California.
