Don LaFontaine (26 August 1940 – 1 September 2008; age 68) was an American voice actor who has recorded voice-overs for over 5,000 films and 35,000 television commercials. As such, he like narrated trailers and teaser trailers for some of the ten Star Trek films. He may have also done promotional material for some of the television series.
