A cultural observation mission in the Briar Patch. The Duck Blind was a holographically disguised observation post above the Ba'ku village. A joint operation between Starfleet and the Son'a, its public goal was to observe the Ba'ku, the native people to one of the planets. Its covert goal was to secretly transport the Ba'ku onto the Holoship submerged in a lake on the planet, and use the Son'a collector to gather the metaphasic radiation in the planet's rings.
