Dukat's starship was a Cardassian Template:ShipClass cruiser which was in service with the Cardassian military in the mid-to-late 24th century. From 2369 to 2371, this ship was commanded by Gul Dukat.

In 2369, this warship visited Deep Space 9. The starship arrived at the station, which was still in orbit of Bajor at the time, soon after the USS Enterprise-D left.

In order to stop Benjamin Sisko and Jadzia Dax's search for the Celestial Temple from being observed by the starship, Odo beamed aboard and sabotaged the ship's energy distribution net, causing their computers to crash, which subsequently disabled its shields and sensors.

Dukat's starship towed from the Bajoran wormhole

The starship later observed the Bajoran wormhole and set a course towards it. Dukat's ship was able to enter it and arrive at the Gamma Quadrant, however, the ship was damaged and the Prophets closed the wormhole. Commander Sisko later towed Dukat's ship out of the wormhole after it reopened using the USS Rio Grande. (DS9: "Emissary")

In 2371, Dukat's ship was on a patrol of the Demilitarized Zone when it was sent a message by Dukat's own counter-insurgency program. The ship traveled to DS9 where Dukat told Major Kira a garrison of troops from his ship would have to be allowed onto the station for him to help them. When Dukat tried to return to the ship, Legate Kell's sub-program was activated and Dukat was unable to leave the station. (DS9: "Civil Defense")

Dukat's ship later greeted Benjamin and Jake Sisko when they arrived at Cardassia in their Bajoran lightship later that year with a fireworks display. (DS9: "Explorers")

It is unknown if these three references was the same warship or three different warships. However, without direct evidence to suggest otherwise, this article assumes that it was the same starship. It is possible, too, that this vessel may be the Prakesh, a warship later commanded by Dukat in "The Way of the Warrior".
