A cubic centimeter (abbreviation: cc, official cm³) is a measure of volume in the SI (or metric) system equal to the volume of a cube with side length of one centimeter (cm). It is also equal to one milliliter (ml). The cc is the standard unit used in measuring the dosage of liquid medicines by volume.
