Ed McCready was born in 1930, and broke into acting in 1964. His career consisted mostly of very small roles such as 'Citizen #1' and 'Detective #2', but he worked steadily until 1995. He appeared in Star Trek: The Original Series five times, in short roles. (These were all episodes directed by Vincent McEveety.) McCready died in 2002.
