Actress Elizabeth Rogers was born in Austin, Texas on May 18th, 1934. Rogers played Lieutenant Palmer, a relief communications officer aboard the Enterprise, in two episodes of Star Trek: The Original Series. She was also the voice of the Companion in the TOS episode "Metamorphosis." Besides that, she also appeared in the films The Poseidon Adventure (1972), The Towering Inferno (1974), The Van (1977), Grand Theft Auto (1977), and An Officer and a Gentleman (1982). She also appeared on several television series, including Bonanza, Dr. Kildare, Gunsmoke, Bewitched, and The Waltons. She died on November 6, 2004 at the age of 70.
