In 2367, Enterprise shuttlepod 01 was piloted by Lieutenant Commander Data to ferry Captain Picard from Ventax to the starship USS Enterprise NCC-1701-D. The shuttle was forced to cut its flight short when the starship 'vanished'. (TNG: "Devil's Due")
