Multiple realities
(covers information from several alternate timelines)

The Epsilon Indi system was an inhabited planetary system of the Alpha Quadrant, located approximately twelve light years from Sol. Its primary was the star Epsilon Indi.

In early history, a band of marauders based on Triacus wreaked chaos on the inhabitants of the Epsilon Indi system. After many centuries of intrusion, the inhabitants of Epsilon Indi were finally able to rise up and destroy the marauders, leading to their corporeal extinction. (TOS: "And the Children Shall Lead")

In the mirror universe, the Terran Empire operated an Imperial Shipyard at Epsilon Indi IV in or prior to 2257. (DIS: "Terra Firma, Part 1")

By the mid-24th century, Humans were living on Epsilon Indi II. (TNG: "Eye of the Beholder", okudagram)

Appendices

Background information

This system's quadrant of origin is inferred based on the position of neighboring locations – 61 Cygni, Alpha Centauri, Procyon, Sol, Tau Ceti, and Wolf 359 – as seen in the star charts appearing in the Star Trek: Discovery episode "Magic to Make the Sanest Man Go Mad" and in the Star Trek: Picard episode "Maps and Legends".

According to Star Trek: Star Charts (pp. 45, 66, "United Federation of Planets I") and Stellar Cartography: The Starfleet Reference Library ("Federation Historical Highlights, 2161-2385"), the Draylax (Epsilon Indi) system was, in the 22nd century, was a destination on the Earth trade routes. In the late 24th century, it was a Federation system.

Apocrypha

The Pocket TOS novel Planet of Judgment mentioned a species called the Tarl (β) who hailed from this area.
