Eric Ehemann is an Emmy Award-nominated CGI animator and artist who was the Lead Animator on Star Trek: The Original Series - Remastered as part of the CBS Digital team. He joined CBS Digital in 2005 and worked on a variety of projects for the studio until early 2008.

Ehemann holds a BFA in Graphic Design from Mississippi State University. While there he worked as a digital artist for the university's TV Center, creating 3D graphics for local television shows. Upon graduating in 1995, he trained in animation and drawing at the Associates in Art school in Sherman Oaks, California until 1997.

In the spring of 1998 Ehemann worked as a character modeler and animator at Black Box Digital. He soon moved on to Virtual Animation, where he was a character modeler and technical director until 1999, after which he moved on for a stint at the former Dream Theater Animation. It was here that Ehemann worked on the video game Star Wars: Demolition.

While working as a digital 3D artist and technical director at the Santa Monica-based company Light Matters/Pixel Envy from the winter of 2001 through the spring of 2002, Ehemann animated sequences for such projects as The X-Files and the 2002 comedy film The Sweetest Thing. He was also the lead animator on the first two episodes of the acclaimed HBO series Band of Brothers, which featured Scott Grimes, Tom Hardy, Neal McDonough, and Simon Pegg in the cast.

In the summer of 2002 Ehemann worked briefly at CIS Hollywood and Money Shot Studios. In 2003 he returned to Dream Theater, now called BrainZoo Studios. In the fall of 2003 he worked at LOOK! Effects, where he served as an animator for such projects as the controversial 2004 film The Passion of the Christ. He then moved back to BrainZoo where he remained until 2005, when he joined CBS Digital.

Ehemann's work for CBS Digital includes animation for two episodes of the 2005 mini-series Into the West, which earned him and several other members of the CBS Digital team an Emmy Award nomination. Also during his tenure at CBS Digital, Ehemann was the lead animator for several episodes in the fifth season of 24 and animated segments for episodes of the CBS series The Unit and Pushing Daisies (the latter created by Bryan Fuller). In addition, Ehemann was the CG supervisor on the 2007 film Underdog, based on the classic animated series.

After departing CBS Digital, Ehemann worked as a 3D artist and animator at Beau Studio until March 2008.
