Riska

...as Riska

Eva Loseth (born 20 December 1968; age 55) played the role of Riska in the Star Trek: Deep Space Nine episode "Life Support".

Loseth made her television debut on the high school comedy series Saved by the Bell (starring fellow "Life Support" guest actress Lark Voorhies) in "Palm Springs Weekend". She then appeared on Quantum Leap (starring Scott Bakula and Dean Stockwell) in "The Play is the Thing: September 9, 1969" (which also included Paul Collins, Craig Richard Nelson, Robert Pine, and Daniel Roebuck). Loseth appeared twice as Laura on Doogie Howser, MD (starring Lawrence Pressman and James B. Sikking), first in 1992's "Nothing Compares 2 U" and then in 1993's "Love Means Constantly Having to Say You're Sorry" (with fellow Cardassian portrayer Tracy Scoggins). Loseth was seen next on the police drama Silk Stalkings (starring Charlie Brill) in the episode "Soul Kiss". She next guested on Diagnosis Murder in "My Four Husbands" (with fellow DS9 guest star Gerrit Graham).

Loseth's film career has been slightly smaller in contrast to her television work. Loseth's film debut was 1998's Art House (with TNG guest actor Bill Erwin). Loseth also co-produced this film. She next appeared in 2006's The Dead Girl (alongside Amy Benedict, Bruce Davison, and Christopher Allen Nelson). Loseth's most recent film work was an uncredited performance in the 2008 thriller Lakeview Terrace (with Paul Terrell Clayton, Ron Glass, and fellow Quantum Leap guest star Robert Pine).
