The auctioned sculpture
The eventualistic movement was a school of classical sculpture that preceeded the Matoian movement.
A post-eventualistic, pre-Matoian, bronze and triptin sculpture was discovered in the cargo hold of an old derelict freighter by the Bajorans, about a light year from Deep Space 9 in 2373. It was subsequently auctioned at Quark's, sold to a Bolian man for one bar and three strips of latinum. (DS9: "In the Cards")
