FGC is a prefix used when assigning numerical designations to stars and stellar bodies. Cluster FGC-13 is among the objects that have designations of this sort.
- It seems likely that this stands for "Federation General Catalog", or something similar, however it was used to describe a globular cluster, which could be what the "GC" also stood for.
