:::Isn't the runtime more or less fixed anyway, at least within a certain series or season? I think the formula has been "one hour, minus what we need as ad space" all along. :) -- [[User:Cid Highwind|Cid Highwind]] ([[User talk:Cid Highwind|talk]]) 11:03, December 23, 2013 (UTC)

:It might be worth noting the runtime of each act (between commercial breaks), which I think would vary more per episode then the totals would. - {{User:Archduk3/Sig/nature}} 11:09, December 23, 2013 (UTC)

I would like to add episode runtimes to the wiki but I need help in where to place the info The preceding unsigned comment was added by 205.144.218.234 (talk).

In the background information section, not in the sidebar, and runtimes should note which home video release it comes from, be it VHS, DVD, or Blu-ray, because I'm betting there is a few seconds difference between them. - Archduk3 09:51, December 23, 2013 (UTC)
There are also some cases where episodes and films had extended versions released("The Measure Of A Man", Star Trek VI: The Undiscovered Country) so that would need to be noted as well. 31dot (talk) 10:08, December 23, 2013 (UTC)
