+ | ::::Runtimes are "fixed" in terms of minutes, but the seconds vary. Take for example the TV show ''Lie to Me'' from a couple of years back with Tim Roth. The first four episodes from season 2 are all "43 minutes long", but range from 42:55 through to 43:25 (rounding to 5s). I'm not entirely convinced that having the times down to the second is really worthwhile, but YMMV. -- [[User:Sulfur|sulfur]] ([[User talk:Sulfur|talk]]) 11:38, December 23, 2013 (UTC) |
Revision as of 11:38, 23 December 2013
I would like to add episode runtimes to the wiki but I need help in where to place the info – The preceding unsigned comment was added by 205.144.218.234 (talk).
- In the background information section, not in the sidebar, and runtimes should note which home video release it comes from, be it VHS, DVD, or Blu-ray, because I'm betting there is a few seconds difference between them. - Archduk3 09:51, December 23, 2013 (UTC)
- There are also some cases where episodes and films had extended versions released("The Measure Of A Man", Star Trek VI: The Undiscovered Country) so that would need to be noted as well. 31dot (talk) 10:08, December 23, 2013 (UTC)
- Isn't the runtime more or less fixed anyway, at least within a certain series or season? I think the formula has been "one hour, minus what we need as ad space" all along. :) -- Cid Highwind (talk) 11:03, December 23, 2013 (UTC)
