I don't really have an idea if this is the right place for this, (feel free to move it), but alas... I seem to have found a problem with the template thingy responsible for the formating of bg notes. (you're goint to have to click edit to see this I suppose)
- Two consecutive background notes are generally formated as such :
that works for up to three notes:
But if you add a fourth note using the same method, it doesn't work.
- Error: the bginfo template only supports three individual notes. Please use a Background section instead.
I know that that's not exactly something that happens a lot, but of course I found this problem trying to do exactly that :D -- Capricorn 11:20, December 1, 2010 (UTC)
- I'm unsure as to the context of your bg notes(so there may be a valid reason to have that many) but I think that if there is enough information to have that many consecutive bg notes, that there should be a seperate Background section, and the inarticle bg note should direct the user to that section.--31dot 11:22, December 1, 2010 (UTC)

- I added an error message to the template that will display if 4 or more notes are passed. That should help a bit. -- Renegade54 17:51, December 1, 2010 (UTC)

It's pretty cool that you can do that. But it kind of got me thinking, I've seen a number of times how less experienced users were stumped that the template got broken because they included an "=" (typically as part of an url) - I don't suppose it would be possible, and useful, to put in a troubleshooting message if that happens? -- Capricorn 11:11, December 2, 2010 (UTC)
