I recently saw the TNG episode "Parallels" again for the first time in a long time. I distinctly remember a scene or two which were not present when watched recently. Is it possible that there were multiple edits of this episode that were released?
Specifically, I remember when Worf was in sickbay after LaForge had died. I remember that Dr. Crusher (not Dr. Ogawa) was the one who activated Geordi's VISOR. She then asked Worf something like "Has anything changed?". Worf looked around the room and said, "My uniform... Your hair..." (And it was true... her hairstyle had visibly changed. It was more elaborate somehow - with a small braid or something similar). She then touched her hair and gave a "that's strange" facial reaction. Upon seeing the episode again, I saw that Dr. Ogawa was the one to activate the VISOR, and there was no comment made about hair changing.
A couple of other notes that might help:
I first saw this episode on the Armed Forces Network in Germany. US networks provide(d) TV shows (sans commercials) free to the military for the entertainment of the military and their families overseas. At the time we saw all shows a season or two delayed from the original airdate. Could this version of the episode have been a different edit?
I recently saw it again on the TNG Season 7 DVD set. I don't know if that is helpful, but I thought I'd mention it.
If anyone has come across any literature that suggests there could be different edits of TNG shows, I would be most appreciative to know about it. It would help me know that I'm not going crazy - or at least that I may not have imagined the different scene. (I was just so sure I remembered seeing it that way.)

- I believe you may have mixed up two different scenes in your memory. There is a scene with Troi where Worf remarks that her hair and her uniform have changed. It's the same sequence where Data's painting changes from an abstract battle scene to an image of a Klingon battle cruiser.220.127.116.11 03:30, July 1, 2011 (UTC)
