Why do the phrases "I'll keep that in mind" and "I'll try to remember that" keep recurring in Trekdom?--Archer4real 15:34, 17 December 2008 (UTC)

Same reason they do in real life? :) -- sulfur 15:37, 17 December 2008 (UTC)
Because Star Trek is in English? --OuroborosCobra talk 17:30, 17 December 2008 (UTC)
I don't remember that! :P --From Andoria with Love 06:23, 21 December 2008 (UTC)
Because they're fairly common English phrases? There are a few unusual phrases repeated in Star Trek that are undoubtedly intentional (I'm a doctor, not a (blank))...but those two are so common it's unremarkable. It'd be like saying "Both Archer and Janeway have used the word the. Is this significant in some way? Future Guy used the word the too. Are they Future Guy?" (I have no idea if Future Guy ever used the, BTW). --Golden Monkey 22:03, 21 December 2008 (UTC)
