I seem to recall an episode of DS9 that said everything from the Mirror Universe had a clockwise rotation to some molecule or atom. Like how when you flush the toilet in North America the water spins one direction while in South America the water will spin the other direction. This rotation could therefore be used to determine whether something originated in our universe or the mirror universe. I can't seem to find any reference to this and am wondering if I just imagined this explanation. --Bapaveza 04:03, December 21, 2010 (UTC)

You might be thinking of neutrino spin in relation to probability-altering gambling devices of Martus Mazur (see third paragraph of that article). I'm not aware about anything in relation to the mirror universe, though. -- Cid Highwind 10:29, December 21, 2010 (UTC)
The idea of being able to distinguish what universe something originated in sounds like the quantum signature from "Parallels". This method was used in the DS9 relaunch novel Fearful Symmetry in relation to the mirror universe.– Cleanse ( talk | contribs ) 00:36, December 22, 2010 (UTC)
