Has it ever been said to which timezone on Earth, or anywhere, that Federations Starships are synchronized to. I always assumed Pacific Time, as that would sync with Headquarters in San Francisco, but I never heard reference in any episode. Has something ever been said of this in canon? --Nmajmani 22:14, 9 August 2008 (UTC)

Nope. --Alan 22:41, 9 August 2008 (UTC)
DS9 is stated to have a 26 hour day, or something, in sync with Bajor IIRC. That is the only mention I know. --OuroborosCobra talk 22:55, 9 August 2008 (UTC)

I always assumed it was sync'd with GMT - nothing to back that up with, just an assumption. – Farfallen 11:36, 21 August 2008 (UTC)

Do Federation starships actually keep track of the time in hours and days? I thought they just kept track of time in stardates, and used a chronometer whenever they needed to measure a specific time period in hours. Hokstein 13:23, 10 October 2008 (UTC)
If they are using a chronometer, than they are keeping track, just like I keep track by using a watch or a clock. --OuroborosCobra talk 13:29, 10 October 2008 (UTC)
