WARNING: IF YOU HAVEN'T SEEN THE MOVIE - THIS CONTAINS A SPOILER
In Star Trek (Alternate Reality), Act 2 (Star Trek), the second paragraph starts: "The Enterprise leaves the spacedock for Vulcan".
In the previous Act when cadets' names are called out and assigned to vessels I tried to identify the 8 ships that left for the Vulcan rescue mission - one of the cadets was assigned to "Regula One" which I do understand, in the StarTrek universe, is a space station.
So I am proposing that the Earth Spacedock is named Regula One - unless someone here knows for sure that it isn't.
PS - I only got USS Wolcott, USS Hood, USS Farragut, USS Newton and USS Antares by listening to the script. And from the wreckage that Enterprise had to navigate through, I (mis)identified the USS Mayflower as the USS Lowe (which is a real USN vessel name.)
How did you guys get the full list (Truman and Mayflower)
- Regula I is located in the Mutara Nebula in orbit of Regula. The space station from which the Enterprise departed was orbiting Earth. --From Andoria with Love 01:09, April 11, 2010 (UTC)
- Yes, this is true, Shran in the second film of the "prime universe" (so to speak, for lack of better term), we do not know if this is the case for the alternate reality (although I imagine it is). Second, it is my understanding that the space station near Earth is actually called Starbase 1 (or was it Spacedock 1) in at least one version of the films script and I believe the novelization. As for the starship names, Nodisalsi, there is a scene in the movie where Captain Pike orders someone to "hail the USS Truman", Mayflower I believe, comes from the broke hull in comparison to I think special features on the Blu-ray release of the film (and the Novelization). --Terran Officer 05:37, February 9, 2011 (UTC)
