Franc notes

The franc ( or Fr) was a unit of currency used in 20th century France.

Seven of Nine was at the holographic Le Coeur de Lion counting what was earned (1,247 francs and 81 Reichsmarks ) one Saturday night set in 1944, which was, according to Mademoiselle de Neuf, insufficient. Later, Katrine planned to purchase a high-frequency oscillator from Monsieur Goulot for between three and five hundred francs. (VOY: "The Killing Game")

The banknotes used in this scene were 5 francs featuring a shepherd and 10 francs featuring the roman goddess Minerva.

In the holosuite program Julian Bashir, Secret Agent, Bashir, as Patrick Merriweather, had to come up with five million francs in order to have a meeting arranged between himself and Dr. Noah. Merriweather was able to come up with the money after winning it from Mr. Duchamps in the card game baccarat. (DS9: "Our Man Bashir")

The banknotes used in this scene set in 1964 were 10 000 francs, which were in use from 1956 to 1960, when they were replaced by 100 new francs notes after the 1959 devaluation. The banknotes feature Napoleon Bonaparte, a sheaf of flags from the Grande Armée, and the Hôtel des Invalides.
