G. Austin was a Human male who served as a Military Assault Command Operations soldier during the mid-22nd century. In 2153, Austin was assigned to the NX-class starship, Enterprise for it's Delphic Expanse mission.
Austin was part of Lieutenant Malcolm Reed's team sent to repel a Xindi-Reptilian boarding party who was attempting to secure the capture of Rajiin. During the fight aboard Enterprise, Austin was hit by a "glob" fired from a Xindi-Insectoid soldier's weapon. (ENT: "Rajiin")
Austin was played by stunt actor Kevin Derr, who portrayed Corporal Kelly in the following seasons.
