The Galor-class phaser bank was a ship-mounted phaser weapon employed by the Cardassians.
In 2370, the Cardassian Central Command secretly provided Galor-class phaser banks to their colonists in the Demilitarized Zone, for use against the Maquis. (DS9: "The Maquis, Part I")
- The name suggests these weapons were designed for Galor-class cruisers. The Star Trek Encyclopedia incorrectly identifies this as a "Galor-class plasma bank", however, both the aired episode and script clearly state "phaser bank".
