Gamma Trianguli was the primary of the Gamma Trianguli planetary system. This star was located in the Gamma Trianguli sector. The location of Gamma Trianguli in the Milky Way Galaxy was depicted on a Federation star chart in 2293. There were at least six planets that orbited this star. One of these planets, Gamma Trianguli VI, was inhabited by a pre-warp capable species, the Vaalians. (TOS: "The Apple"; Star Trek VI: The Undiscovered Country; ENT: "In a Mirror, Darkly, Part II")
