Gantt

For the Ferengi with a similar name, see Gant.

Gantt was a Bajoran resistance fighter and was a member of the Shakaar resistance cell on Bajor, along with Kira Nerys.

He treated Kira Taban, who had been attacked by the Cardassians, in the 2360s. Furel suggested that Gantt lead an attack on the Ninth Order which was outside Tempasa, as he knew the territory.

Gantt was with Taban when he died and later told Kira he had passed away calling her name. (DS9: "Ties of Blood and Water")

Gantt was played by Rick Schatz.

The character also appears in Fearful Symmetry and the Star Trek: Terok Nor novels Night of the Wolves and Dawn of the Eagles.
