Captain Geral was an Annari commander who offered assistance to Voyager when the ship landed on a planet in Annari territory for repairs.

He was very cooperative and offered to provide dilithium and other necessities to Voyager in a trade agreement. However, after the Annari discovered that Harry Kim had aided a Kraylor ship, his attitude changed. The Annari were at war with the Kraylor, and Geral ordered Voyager to leave the planet and refused to give the materials that he promised them. He threatened to attack Voyager if they did not comply.
