Miss Gladstone was a Starfleet chief petty officer who was assigned to the primary school as a teacher aboard the Federation starship Enterprise-D. She was on duty when Ian Troi, the rapidly-growing alien offspring of Deanna Troi, was admitted to the school in 2365. (TNG: "The Child")
- Miss Gladstone was played by actress Dawn Arnemann.
- Her sciences division uniform had only one hollow-pip insignia, which would come to signify a CPO. This was the first time any type of enlisted rank insignia was used in a Star Trek television production.
