Goran'Agar
Name: Goran'Agar
Gender: Male
Species: Jem'Hadar
Rank: Jem'Hadar First
Allegiance: Dominion
Actor: Scott MacDonald

Goran'Agar was a Jem'Hadar First, whose ship crash-landed on the planet Bopak III in 2369. He was the only survivor, but had only enough ketracel-white to last three days. Goran'Agar stretched the supply to eight, but did not die afterwards as he expected. He was rescued thirty-five days later, and he assumed that something on the planet had cured him of his addiction.

Hoping to free the rest of his men from control by the Vorta, Goran'Agar left the Dominion and led them back to Bopak III in 2372. Unfortunately, they remained addicted to the white, and Goran'Agar was unable to determine the cause. An unexpected opportunity came to him in the form of Doctor Julian Bashir and Chief Miles O'Brien, who had landed on the planet to investigate a subspace magneton pulse being generated by the Jem'Hadar ship's engines. Goran'Agar ordered their capture and told Bashir of their situation, compelling him to work to find a solution.

Eventually, Bashir discovered that Goran'Agar had not been cured by the planet, but rather possessed some type of genetic mutation which allowed his body to produce the white it required. After O'Brien escaped custody and destroyed Bashir's equipment, Goran'Agar realized that there was no choice but death for his men. He decided to release the Starfleet officers and hunt down the remaining Jem'Hadar himself, to give them a quick finish in combat rather than a slow death from lack of white. (DS9: "Hippocratic Oath")

Memorable quote

"I have been."
"Then you explain."

- To Chief O'Brien before going to hunt down his men
