Gordon Clapp (born 24 September 1948; age 75) played Hadran in the Star Trek: Deep Space Nine episode "Vortex".
He is perhaps best known for his role as Detective Greg Medavoy on NYPD Blue, whom he played for eleven years. (His co-stars on the show included Sharon Lawrence and Michael Buchman Silver.) He was previously married to Deborah Taylor, who played his ex-wife on the show as well as the role of Captain Chantal Zaheva in "Night Terrors".
In the same year as his Star Trek appearance, Clapp guest-starred in the Cheers episode "Look Before You Sleep". Deirdre Imershein and Keene Curtis also guest-starred and, of course, Kelsey Grammer played his famous role: Dr. Frasier Crane.
Since the end of NYPD Blue, Clapp has starred in the films Trailer Talk (with Ron Canada) and Flags of Our Fathers (with Neal McDonough, Len Cariou and David Clennon). Clapp's next film project is The Golden Door.
