Greg Poland is the actor and dancer who first portrayed an Elloran officer in Star Trek: Insurrection and three years later a Voyager security officer in the Star Trek: Voyager episode "Repentance".

Poland started his acting career with supporting roles in Spike Lee's acclaimed drama Malcolm X (1992, with Denzel Washington, the action film Da Vinci's War (1993, with Michael Nouri and Branscombe Richmond), Robert Altman's Broadway and television movie Black and Blue (1993), and Rob Reiner's comedy The American President (1995, with Michael Douglas, Annette Benning and Michael J Fox.

Among his further work were guest roles in the television series Martin (1996), Hangin' with Mr. Cooper (1996), The Jamie Foxx Show (1997), Babylon 5 (1997, with regulars Bill Mumy, Patricia Tallman, Andreas Katsulas, and guest stars Bruce Gray, J.P. Hubbell, Marjorie Monaghan, and Musetta Vander), and Party of Five (1999, with Julie Warner), as well as a recurring role as Ben in four episodes of the comedy series In the House (1999).

After supporting roles in the horror thriller Tequila Body Shots (1999, with Nathan Anderson and Henry Darrow) and the television comedy Late Last Night (1999, with Steven Weber, Emilio Estevez, Charles Esten, Vince Deadrick, Jr., Tom Hodges, and Sarah Silverman), he appeared in the television series Sabrina, the Teenage Witch (2000, along Richard Riehle), The X-Files (2000, with Richard Cox, Michael Hungerford, Ron Marasco, and Shannon O'Hurley), The District (2001, with Monica Staggs), and The Orlando Jones Show (2003). Poland also appeared in the Golden Globe winning television music drama Lackawanna Blues (2005, with Josef Cannon and J.B. Williams), lent his voice to the drama The Borthers (2001, with Gabrielle Union, Susan Patterson, and Henry Kingi, Jr.), and served as producer for the thriller Runt (2005).

Beside his on-screen work, Poland is an accompished stage actor whose work included the role of Tybalt in Romeo and Juliet, Willie in Ms. Evers Boys, Wayne in Dreamgirls, and Andy Lee in 42nd Street. He is also working as a chreographer and tap dance teacher for projects such as the show La Feet for Disney's California Adventure and appeared on the national broadway tour for The Producers along Jason Alexander and Martin Short.
