Template:Realworld Gregory Rians Smith (born 1957) is a composer who wrote the music scores for three episodes of Star Trek: Deep Space Nine and the computer game Star Trek: Klingon. Smith also supplied occasional orchestrations for TNG, DS9, Voyager and Enterprise scores composed by Jay Chattaway. In 2006, he conducted and produced the re-recording of the original Star Trek theme for the show’s remastered, 40th anniversary release. Some of Smith's DS9 scores were released as part of the Star Trek: Deep Space Nine Collection.
