The Cardassian military freighter was a modular starship fielded by the Cardassian Central Command in the early 2370s. Composed primarily of a forward command section and a rear engine section, the middle of the ship was made of modular cargo containers for the rapid transport of material.
- The model of the Cardassian military freighter was later used for the Cardassian freighter in DS9: "Rules of Engagement" and the Cardassian transport in DS9: "For the Uniform". The model would further be modified for the Nekrit freighter in VOY: "Fair Trade" and modified for the Klingon freighter in DS9: "Sons and Daughters".
