Hank Harris is the actor who played Jack in Star Trek: Enterprise episode "Carbon Creek".
Harris grew up in Duluth, Minnesota. He studied acting under Jeff Goldblum, Diane Hardin, and Nina Axelrod and also appeared in several television commercials for companies such as McDonald's, Burger King, Dr. Pepper, and T-Mobile.
He is perhaps best known for his recurring role as outcast Emory Dick on the comedy-drama series Popular from 1999 through 2001. Brenda Bakke, Cyia Batten, Bob Clendenin, Anthony Montgomery, Kellie Waymire, Ray Wise, and Kelvin Yu were among the performers Harris co-starred with on this series.
Harris also recurred on Nickelodeon's The Secret World of Alex Mack (with Tommy Hinkley) and NBC's legal drama The Lyon's Den. He worked with Star Trek: Voyager stars Roxann Dawson and Robert Picardo on the latter series, as well as Steven Culp, Spencer Daniels, Gregg Henry, Clyde Kusatsu, Eric Lemler, Tina Lifford, Gary Pike, Harve Presnell, and Brenda Strong.
In addition, Harris was a regular on the Discovery series ARK, the Adventures of Animal Rescue Kids (aka The Adventures of ARK), which ran from 1997 through 1999. Harris then signed on as a regular on a series for ABC entitled Brookfield, but the show never made it beyond the pilot.
His other TV credits include guest spots on Mr. Rhodes (starring Ron Glass), 7th Heaven (starring Stephen Collins and Catherine Hicks, in an episode with Maureen Flannigan) Providence (with Cress Williams and Jamison Yang), Nip/Tuck (with David Carpenter, Gregg Daniel, and "Carbon Creek" co-star Ron Marasco), and CSI: New York (with Robert Joy). He also appeared in the "Lord of the Flies" episode of The X-Files, directed by Kim Manners and co-starring Erick Avari and Michael Wiseman. In 2007, he appeared with John Billingsley and Autumn Reeser in a pilot for the CW called The World According to Barnes.
Harris' first feature film was the 1998 thriller Mercury Rising, which co-starred Jude Ciccolella, Kevin Conway, John Doman, John Carroll Lynch, James MacDonald, Steve Rankin, and Richard Riehle. He then starred in and co-wrote the 1999 independent comedy Sign of the Times. In the 2001 comedy Delivering Milo, Harris co-starred with Star Trek's Anton Yelchin and John Cho and Star Trek: Insurrection's Michael Welch. Afterwards, he played the title role in the 2002 romantic comedy Pumpkin, co-starring Lisa Banes and Michelle Krusiec.
His more recent films include Just Hustle (2004, with Raymond Cruz) and HellBent (2004, with Wren T. Brown). He most recently portrayed Ronny in the "sketch comedy movie" Extreme Movie, along with Bobbi Sue Luther.
