Harley Venton (born 11 November 1953; age 70) is the actor who played Ensign Collins in the Star Trek: The Next Generation fifth season episode "Ensign Ro" in 1991. He filmed his scenes for this episode on Tuesday 6 August 1991 on Paramount Stage 9. The same year, he returned to play the role of Transporter Chief Hutchinson in the episode "Hero Worship".

Venton was born in Jamestown, North Dakota, USA.
