Template:Realworld Harry Groener was born 10 September 1951 in Augsburg, Germany.

He has been acting on screen since 1985. He has made several movie and television appearances, including the recurring role of Mayor Richard Wilkins III in Buffy the Vampire Slayer. Star Trek: Deep Space Nine's Armin Shimerman also appeared on that series in a recurring role of Principal Snyder. His character was killed by Wilkins (eaten, actually) in the season three finale.

Groener is also a noted stage performer, having received Tony Award nominations for roles in Broadway musicals Oklahoma! (1979-1980 revival) and Crazy for You (1992-1996), and recently performing the lead role of King Arthur in Monty Python's Spamalot (replacing Tim Curry).
