The Hindu Festival of Lights was a festive holiday in India, celebrated with candles, fireworks, and gifts.
In 2367, the Festival coincidentally was celebrated on the one thousand five hundred fiftieth day since the USS Enterprise-D was commissioned. (TNG: "Data's Day")
- This festival is also known by the name "Diwali", but that name was never mentioned on air.
