Footnotes
- ↑ Treated as a separate release for sales purposes.
- ↑ Does not form part of the series proper.
- ↑ 3.0 3.1 3.2 Sales figures for an anthology work like Alien Spotlight or Captain's Log vary significantly, depending on the individual subject matter.
- ↑ 4.0 4.1 This figure represents combined sales figures from May and June 2008. A problem with IDW deliveries to Diamond's distribution center saw this issue's release to stores on the US East Coast delayed by one week, taking it into June.
- ↑ This late March release appeared in April's sales charts. There is, therefore, the possibility of some sales in March that were below that month's Top 300 threshold of ~2,100 copies.
- ↑ This late December 2009 release appeared in January 2010's sales charts. There is the distinct possibility of additional sales in December that were below that month's Top 300 threshold of ~3,400 copies.
iTunes
In December 2008, it was announced that IDW would begin publishing comics in digital format, via Apple's iTunes Store, beginning with the first issue in the Best of Peter David reprint collection, "A Rude Awakening!". The remaining issues that make up that collection are to follow. [2] The individual issues of Star Trek: Countdown were also released via iTunes, with "Countdown, Number Three" and "Countdown, Number Four" being released on the same day as their physical counterparts - a first for the digital format.
