Template:Realworld Ian Christenberry worked as lighting technician, lamp operator, and assistant chief lighting technician in the camera and electrical department of Star Trek: The Next Generation, Star Trek: Voyager, Star Trek: Enterprise and the films Star Trek VI: The Undiscovered Country and Star Trek: Insurrection. He was also chief lighting technician on the video game Star Trek: Klingon. A Starfleet officer seen on various set artwork was named after him.

Prior to his work on Star Trek, Christenberry worked as assistant camera operator on the musical drama Breakin' 2: Electric Boogaloo (1984, with camera operator Krishna Rao), the drama Always (1985), and the science fiction film The Hidden (1987).

Among the projects he worked as lighting technician and electrician on are the television series Tales from the Darkside (1987-1988), the horror thriller Dark Tower (1989, with Krishna Rao), the comedy Wayne's World (1992, with Patric J. Abaravich, Richard Briere, Armando Contreras, and Liz Radley), the romance Speechless (1994), and the television series Entourage (2004).
