Template:Realworld Idrissa Akuna "Idris" Elba (born 6 September 1972; age 51) is an actor who has been cast in a lead role in the 2016 sequel Star Trek Beyond, directed by Justin Lin. [1]
He is best known for his roles in the television series The Wire and Luther, as well as portraying Nelson Mandela in the biopic Mandela: Long Walk to Freedom. He also portrays Heimdall in the Thor/Avengers film series opposite Chris Hemsworth.
