For the novel, see Imzadi (novel).

Imzadi (pronounced em-ZAH-dee) is a Betazed word most closely translated as "beloved." It is frequently used as a term of endearment. (TNG: "Encounter at Farpoint", "Haven", "Shades of Gray", "Violations", "Second Chances", and more)

Deanna Troi called out Imzadi as Commander William T. Riker was being held captive by Armus on Vagra II. (TNG: "Skin of Evil")

Troi called Riker Imzadi as he lay suffering from the microorganizm that had attacked his nervous system during TNG: "Shades of Grey".

Riker later called Troi Imzadi when she was affected by the two-dimensional lifeforms and as a consequence lost her empathic abilities and became frightened. (TNG: "The Loss")

Thomas Riker called Troi Imzadi upon seeing her for the first time in eight years. (TNG: "Second Chances")

Riker again called Troi his Imzadi when the two were getting intimate in their quarters on the USS Enterprise following the first part of their wedding ceremony on Earth. (Star Trek Nemesis)
