The intestine is a two-part bodily system designed to transfer digested food to the Circulatory system or to expel foods from the body. It is part of the Digestive system.
The Hirogen collect the intestines of prey, along with many other bodily parts. They considered human intestines to be an unusual relic due to it's great length. (VOY: Hunters)
