Jack Hayes, shortly after being revived in 2371
Jack Hayes was an Ohio farmer living in the United States of America during the early 20th century.
In 1937, while driving his Ford truck down a road, Hayes was abducted from Earth, by an alien race called the Briori, and taken, along with 300 other Humans, to an unnamed class L planet in the Delta Quadrant. Hayes' truck was jettisoned out into space in the Delta Quadrant and abandoned.
Hayes and seven of the other abductees were put in cryogenic stasis. Hayes and the others would come to be known to the abductees' decendants as the 37's. They would remain in stasis until the crew of the USS Voyager revived them in 2371.
After being revived, Hayes chose to remain with the Human settlement on the planet when Voyager left to resume its journey back to the Alpha Quadrant. (VOY: "The 37's")
